At Bladins Primary School, we are now looking for a special needs teacher specializing in mathematics who wants to become our new colleague in our student health team. You will primarily work with students in grades 4-9, but sometimes also with younger students. The school has many skilled mathematics teachers, and you will also have several special needs teachers and special education colleagues.
We offer:
- A secure school environment with high ambitions
- Engaged colleagues and a strong sense of community
- Opportunities for development and collegial learning
- A school where every student is seen and given the right conditions to succeed
Job Description:
As a special needs teacher, you are part of and support our preventive and health-promoting work together with the entire school's student health team. You work partly with group instruction and partly with specific and intensive interventions for students in need of support, where it is crucial to think outside the box and create conditions for every student to succeed in mathematics. You will also supervise teaching colleagues in their support efforts.
You work independently and purposefully, planning the work for each intervention in collaboration with teaching teachers, special education teachers, and the principal. You are a clear support in the school leadership's work with student health and can be involved in the school's development processes. You work on behalf of the principal and are a representative in the school's student health team. You collaborate with all different functions in the student health team, especially with our special education teachers and special needs teachers. Together, you shape the special educational work.
The position is a 100% permanent employment with a six-month probation period.
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who have a teaching license and the special needs teacher program with a focus on the subject of mathematics. You should have a genuine interest in developing your own profession and driving every student's learning forward. You are expected to have very good leadership qualities. You also have very good communication skills and the ability to create positive, sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. We expect you to be proactive in collegial learning. You have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
